For the past 25 years Karin has worked as a teacher at Berlin Brandenburg International School in all three IB programmes: the Primary (PYP) Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma (DP) programmes. In 2006 she took on the role as IB Coordinator at BBIS.
Karin has worked as a teacher for almost 40 years in both German state schools and International Schools. She graduated with a degree in teaching in secondary education at Potsdam University, where she also worked as a teacher trainer and received her PhD in Linguistics. Besides being IB Coordinator, Karin still enjoys teaching 11th and 12th grades.
